Commercials Rock - Ford Mustang - 'Inner Mustang'

To Don Draper's delight, sporting events and the occasional live event on television have not quite allowed the DVR to squeeze the last breathe out of commercials just yet. With some great bands getting spotlights shined on them with each new Apple ad, we think that is a good thing. Allow us to introduce 'Commercials Rock', where we point out the band and song is in heavily played commercials.

Not every commercial is as obvious about showing you who the band playing is as the recent Buick spot, with indie pop outfit Neon Trees awaiting their turn to play for the Pandora listener. Anyone else unable to get the few moments of "Everybody Talks" out of their head for days each time they see the commercial? We are here to help you get from the 'that's a cool song' thought to being able to pick up the album.

Ford 2013 Mustang - 'Inner Mustang' commercial- The Features "How It Starts"

In addition to the cool effect of the Mustang changing its look to match personalities as it drives by potential drivers, Ford's latest commercial features the raw blues-drenched rock goodness of Tennessee's The Features. Believe us, when these maniacs come stomping back through Chicago for a tour date, we'll let you know. Until then, take our word that the rest of last year's Wilderness is every bit as sweaty and invigorating as the thirty-second clip of "How It Starts" is.
