The second in Colin Caulfield's planned trilogy of albums is a vast improvement over 2011's Ideas Of Distance. The seamless nine-track effort sets a graceful course early and rarely strays from its mellow path, with lovely guitar pop winners like "Do" shuffling by beautifully as Caulfield's comforting tenor drifts along to the flickering guitar. The sixties vibe of laid back "Wasted" bleeds into a catchy piano melody and light, anxious beat on the tension-filled "21", before the piano slowly dissipates in favor of drizzled guitar before returning as the song grows into a lush epic. The more defined bass line and uptempo beat of "Fate" works great to liven things up a touch, with guitars swimming gracefully around each other as Caulfield croons, ". Caulfield melodically admits, "I don't know where I'm going", on swirling seven-minute closer "Directions". By the end, you are more than willing to tag along wherever album number three takes him.
